ข้อห้าม

- ไม่ควรเก็บไว้ร่วมกับพระ

- ห้ามให้เด็กและผู้สูงวัยจับต้องน้ำมันพราย

- ผู้ชายห้ามยืนปัสสาวะและบ้วนน้ำลายลงโถส้วม

- หากรู้ว่าตัวเองเจ็บป่วยควรเอาพระพุทธรูปตั้งครอบน้ำมันพรายเอาไว้ พอหายเจ็บป่วยจึงเอาออกมาบูชาดังเดิม

การเซ่นไหว้

การเซ่นไหว้มีอยู่ 2 อย่างคือ เซ่นไหว้ครูบาอาจารย์และพรายพร้อมกัน

สิ่งที่ต้องเตรียม: 

- เบียร์ 1 กระป๋อง

- แหนมเนื้อ 1 ชิ้น

- บุหรี่ 1 ม้วน

- น้ำส้ม 1 ขวด
- น้ำแดง 1 ขวด

- น้ำเปล่า 2 แก้ว
- อาหารคาวหวาน

*เซ่นไหว้ก่อนวันพระใหญ่หรือวันโกน ควรทำหนึ่งถึงสองครั้งต่อเดือน

How to Use Namman Prai

Buying Ritual:

- Toss a 5 baht coin (or the equivalent in your currency) before bringing the Namman Prai into your home. This symbolizes buying the spirit that comes with the oil.

- Inform the house spirit about the new spirit (Namman Prai).

Using It:

- Place the Namman Prai between your palms and pray for what you want.

- For charm or attraction, use your right index finger to dab a little Namman Prai and touch the person you are interested in. Focus on the neck or upper arms.

- It is best to apply the oil once or twice a month for the best results.

Prohibitions

Storage:

- Do not store Namman Prai with Buddha images.

Handling:

- Do not allow children and the elderly to touch Namman Prai.

For Men:

- Men should not stand while urinating or spit into the urinal.

When Sick:

- If you get sick, you should cover the Namman Prai with a Buddha image. When you recover, uncover it and continue worship as usual.

Offerings

Make offerings to both your teachers and the spirits with the Namman Prai once or twice a month, ideally before Big Buddha Day or Shave Day. Offer:

- 1 can of beer

- 1 piece of beef sausage

- 1 roll of cigarettes

- 1 bottle of orange juice

- 1 bottle of red juice

- 2 glasses of water

- Some food and dessert

Spell

Chant this spell seven times to activate the Namman Prai:

“On Om Ka Kroek Ka Kroek - Sanae Mon - Sanae Chan - Sanae O Tiang - Sanae Niang Sawa Ha”
